What this site is
InsureMath publishes free calculators that estimate what auto, home, life, health, and specialty insurance actually costs, before you talk to an agent or fill out a quote form. Every calculator updates live as you change inputs, no email address or signup required to see a result.
The site is not an insurer, an agency, or a quote comparison engine. It does not sell your information to carriers and does not currently place you into any lead-generation funnel. It exists to answer one question honestly: roughly what should this cost, and why.
How the numbers are built
Every figure a calculator uses, rates, premiums, thresholds, state minimums, comes from a named source: an insurer's own published data, a state department of insurance, a federal agency, or an industry association like the Insurance Information Institute or NAIC.
Where no verifiable source exists for a commonly repeated statistic, that statistic is left out rather than presented as fact. The full approach is written up on the methodology page.
Who reviews the content
Content is reviewed by James Anderson, Licensed Insurance Agent (Life & Health, Michigan). For property and casualty tools that fall outside that license's specific scope, such as auto, home, and business liability calculators, the review focuses on sourcing accuracy and calculation methodology rather than acting as a substitute for licensed advice in that line of insurance.
